ABOUT ME 

My life as an artist kind of started before I was born. I’m the son of two actors, and I started acting as a child. Since then, I have worked as an actor all over the states and Canada, appearing in theatre on and off broadway, at the Stratford Festival and all over the continent. I have also starred in numerous film and television productions including Law and Order, Law and Order SVU, and Sex And The City. I have also worked in broadcasting, as a regular columnist on the CBC radio show “Q” and as the co-host of the long running podcast “Soft Revolution”. In addition I have written columns for such publications as Now Magazine, The CBC and The Atlantic. I am also the Author of a one man play, entitled “True Crime” and co-author of the play “Stars: Together”

But most of my life for the past twenty five years has been spent as a musician, primarily as a member of the band Stars. We have made 9 albums, sold over half a million records, including a gold record in Canada for our album Set Yourself On Fire, and toured the world, playing such renowned festivals as Glastonbury, Lollapalooza and Coachella multiple times. I am also a member of the band Memphis, and we have made 4 albums and have toured extensively as well. I am also a sound designer and composer for theatre and film. Some of my credits include 3 Vancouver theatre awards (called “The Jessie Awards) winning designs for productions of Hamlet and Angels In America, and musical scores for feature films, including the recent indie hit “Adult Adoption”.

These days, my time is spent making new music with Stars and others, as well as working on my song commissioning project. Over the last couple of years, i have written personalized songs for over a hundred people. Each one is unique and tailored to my commissioner.
